Gus, What a cutie you are! Talk about a million dollar smile!!! You profile is an inspirational story....you should write a book. My surgery was April 10 and I am 10 months and 15 days post op with a loss of 121 from my highest weight. As for being good....I am being better than I was around Christmas. I just found an old photo of mine....posted it cuz it helps me remember where I came from. This year has been fabulous....talk about improved quality of life!! This April board has been a lifesaver for me...typically I lurk around, but it has been such a blessing to read of others feelings, fears and most of all, joys. Simply put, thank you April board!!!

Kathleen, I was wondering if that would happen---must shrink the pouch a little. I could deal with that. How long ago did you do the fast? Julia

Yesterday I had to take CPR update training. During the training we have to simulate doing the heimlich maneuver on each other and I suddenly remembered last time I renewed, the person trying to demonstrate on me, could not get their arms around me. I remember thinking I would be doomed if I choked on something if they didn't put me on the floor and do it from the front instead of reaching around to your abdomen from the back. This time it was easy for them to do that. I was so pleased. Julia

I am down 118 pounds from my highest of 301. (currently 183). Today I bough a pair of 14 misses jeans...and Holy Crap! THEY FREAKEN FIT! I almost did the dance of joy in the store. I can't remember when I was a size 14. Maybe when I was 16. I am now 42! I have 23 more pounds to go to surgeons goal. 33 to mine. WORDS CAN NOT DESCRIBE THE JOY I FEEL!

Jenni, I am certainly ready to eat again! Will watch everything I eat though. I really felt I ate pretty good before so hope this just kicks in the metabolism again. Julia
