Joan, I love red too and I bet you looked good in it. This is a wonderful tool that God made available to us and we are using it well. I know what you mean about thinking it would not work---now I am thinking, will I be able to maintain. I think with the help and encouragement of those on OH and this site in particular, I will be able to maintain. I think that may be the biggest test of all. Julia W.

Topic: RE: WHAT HAVE YOU EATEN TODAY?
Don't have an idea what Ethel had as far as counts go... Thursday nothing! Friday very little...Sat...went to O'Charley's and had 1/2 portion of the new California salad with greens, dried cranberries, manderin oranges, blue cheese, grilled chicken and balsamic vinigrette...yum and brought 1/2 of the 1/2 salad home for dinner. I went to their web site for nutrition info and none was there soI sent email asking for it. I also had a protein shake and low carb SF yogurt. But at least I could eat...praise God after Wed. and Thurs.
Ethel thanks you Sher for doing this

My Dear April Friends...and I mean that sincerely...I feel I know each of you and pray the Lord blesses each of you. Thanks to everyone who prayed and responded to my post.
I feel so much better today and had wonderful day at church. It is Agape Sunday which is the last Sunday of the month and we all bring covered dish to share and eat together. I never know how to count my food on this day because I am unsure of what is in the food and I only eat about 2-3T of safe food.
But today is a WOW Moment day. Mrs. Dot who passed away had some clothes she never got to wear. Her daughter brought me some to church two weeks ago and they fit. She gave me a size 4/6 pantsuit in red and black and I put it in the closet for later. Well, today is LATER I wore it and the pants were baggy!! I love it and felt so pretty. I love red like my Mom did. Today is 10th month since surgery date as we are all in at almost at 10 months...and never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be in a 4/6 today...God is good and I am so grateful for this surgery and this wonderful tool. Please...please do not think I am bragging or think I am doing better...it is I am just so overwhelmed with joy that this really worked...I was so afraid it wouldn't work for me. I am so free and happy and am just thanking the Lord everyday for this new life and what better group to share than those that were in the hospital the same month as me and who understand so much more. I thank each of you for sharing your joys, pains, frustrations and successes...you have made this jounrey much more bearable and joyful!! I am down 137lbs today and lost 11 1/2 pounds since Jan. 29. I have 18pounds to lose to get to 135 which is my goal. Unless my body finally finds it set point sooner...either way I am so happy.
Love in Him Who Is Love,

Topic: RE: 6 day plateau buster diet
Rebecca, I seemed to have enough energy but the last two days I started having muscle cramps in my legs at night. I have had them before but usually if I drink enough liquids they do not occur. I know I am drinking enough now so am unsure if I just need to eat or what. It probably has nothing to do with the diet. I am going to have my bowl of cream of wheat right now!! It did get easier as the week went on and let me know I can survive without sugar free mocha/lattes!! Julia

Topic: 6 day plateau buster diet
I am finished with the 6 day plateau buster diet and have lost 6.2 pounds this week. Excellent. Hope I can maintain that and continue a losing streak. I know it won't be that much a week but maybe it will jump start things where I can lose 2 to 2.5 pounds per week again. Thanks for the plan Kathleen. Julia W.

Cyn---You are right about the April board. I have learned so much here, as we are all so close in the stages of our wonderful journey, that it is easy to help each other out and to share information, wow moments etc. You have done very good with your loss as we all have. This has been a lifesaver for us and we should never forget where we came from. I have a before pic in front of me by my computer! I keep it turned upside down but know exactly where it is when I need to remember how far I have come. Julia
