It is the normal things in life that were not normal before WLS that we appreciate so much now...we fit in and don't have to be embarrassed anymore by our bodies. Good for you Julia...just think...everyday is a new adventure and we can be used to encourage others whether overweight or thin.... Joan M

To each of you dear Ladies...this is what I was talking about....you all responded with love and caring and you truly inspire me to be more and with His grace and strength we all can be more than we think. When we give of ourselves we show the world that love is still there...everything doesn't have to be about hate and anger and who did this or that but what can I do to make a difference in the life of someone else. It isn't about ME....I truly believe that when I live for the God I love I will love the way He loves. I pray I can always do that in His strength and ability. May the Lord help each of us to become what He planned for us to be...keep on Friends!! InHim, Joan M

Dear Joan, I too am so glad that you are better. I hope that you won't have any more problems with your little pouch. Your enthusiasm is what influenced me to join in with this April message board. Everyone here has been so friendly. I have not seen one negative comment here which keeps me coming back. I enjoy the comradary and support offered by everyone, each of whom are at the same stage in this journey as myself. Thankyou all. Sher

Ana, Kathleen's nutritionist gave this to her-----Try to do the liquid diet for 6 days. Just clear liquids for 3 days, then on the fourth day do the clear liquids plus one protein shake a day for the next three days. I think it worked for me but the true test will be to see if it has kicked my metabolism up a notch now that I have finished it. Julia P. also did it at the same time as I did and she was doing well. And of course Kathleen used it too. Julia W.

Kim, You are right, my health has improved so many ways and that was one I had forgotten about. I also had a fear of having to be carried from some place after being in an accident and hurting someones back or worse because of my weight. Now I won't worry about that so much. Julia

Joan, I just checked the Christianity board to see if you had posted how you were feeling today. When I got to this sight and saw your post, I was so delighted. I am so glad you are feeling better. We have the same anniversary date and as of 10 months today I have lost 81 pounds. I am happy. You though, are amazing to be down 137 pounds. You go girlfriend. I am so glad your pain is gone and that you didn't have to be hospitalized. Praise God! Kim M.

Thanks Cyndi---we all deserve the benefits we have received in 10 months as we have worked hard during this journey and it's not over yet. Is the hard part, keeping the weight off once we reach a goal?? Maybe that is when we will help each other the most. Julia W.
