I hope that nobody has to do it but once. But it is nice to know if we ever need it. I am so glad that it worked for you so well. Great job on the weight loss, I am happy to be a part of this group. Kathleen

Started journaling food intake and exercise on spark people site. I religiously did my cardio exercises 30 minutes 3 times a week and did strength exercises on alternating days. I tried to get in 1000 cal each day with required protien and water intake. I guess this is what I needed to do to see that scale start moving. Horray for me. Sher

I'm with Jenn - I would dearly love to have plastic surgery done but want to wait to see if kids are on the way. But then again I was talking to someone and she said that her daughter tightened back up after having kids, she had a tt before getting pregnant. So maybe it would work - probably have to talk to the plastic surgeon about that scenario. good luck, sarah

Sue, I am SO tempted to do the same thing, but I don't want to get PS done until I have a few kids. Might as well ruin my body all the way before I pay to fix it! Keep us posted! Jenn

Topic: Plastic surgery consult
I know I am a bit premature with this, but I scheduled a consultation with a plastic surgeon for next month. I want to know everything I can so I can plan toward it. I have so much excess skin and I am sure that I will be paying for a lot of work I want done. I have a lot of itchy rashes under my belly and I am hoping that this might buy me a free ticket for at least the TT being done. This might sound silly, but I am hoping that they don't get rid of my C-section scar. I always feel that my scars are part of my road map of life, but I can deal if they remove that skin, too. But I also want my wings clipped, my boobs lifted and my chicken skin filleted so I figure let me explore what I have to do. A woman I know from my son's old school had work done with him and he also has a very strong following on Obesityhelp. I sent an email to a friend of mine who had already had an armlift done, asking about her doctor and such. She changed the subject title to read "A Farewell to Arms." which I thought was adorable! Enjoy the rest of the day, Sue

Topic: Cravings at THAT time of the month
I read the postings just now about the carb cravings and I find that it is just horrible for me at "that time" of the month. I just want to literally throw things in my mouth and I have to step back and try not to just overindulge. Since I am in my late 40s, I would assume that I will be going through my changes. I wonder if those cravings will leave - at least at that time of the month. Just curious, Sue

I am with you there on the carbs..I did buy some rice cakes the mini ones and do 1/2 portion when I am craving them. I keep them in a cupboard just for my food so family won't eat them and when I amin the mood I eat 1 then allow myself only two more and that is it. They are the caramel flavored and are very good. Get the sweet and crunchy... my nutritionist said our carbs should only be about 40% og your toal calories for the day. So when I enter my food on fitday it shows me the percentage that I have had. I plan ahead and that way I am not suprised at the end of the day after I have eaten and can't take it back...if you know what I mean. You have done great and like everyone else has said we are all difference so do not compare.... In Him, Joan M
