What the strange thing is that before the surgery I had cravings around "that time" of the month...post surgery, it is when I ovulate. Crazy huh? Just another in a long line of changes that have been soooooo worth it...(as I slid into my size 8's this AM) Aren't we blessed??? Not only do we look good....hopefully we will (if it is HIS will) live longer!!

I have a stereo near the treadmill with my comfortable headphones. I have it set to a country music station. Depending on the song, I run or walk. The faster beat songs I run to. I'm not running very much but if I can run one fast song and then walk a slow one, I seem to do better. I know I can run more and faster outside, but while the weather is so nasty, the treadmill works fine. Will be thinking of you on Sunday.

Wow, Floyd that's amazing! I am having trouble running it on the treadmill because... I get bored! When I'm on the track or on the street, I do just fine, even though it is super windy out here. But that treadmill and the clock and whatnot just kills my motivation.
I have been messing around with my iPod playlist to try and get a good rhythm going for the run. When I move with the music, I tend to stick to a better run time. Do you listen to anything when you run? I try to do a walking song for warmup, then 2 running songs, then a fast walking song, then one more running song, and a walking/cooldown song. That's usually about 25-27 minutes. I know I need to add in a few more if I am going to continue walking and manage the 3 miles.
I'm a work in progress!

I am having a lot of ladies over for a Ladies Night Out from Church tonight and I made white bean chicken chili and cream of potato soup and a salad. The ladies are bringing bread, desserts and another salad and drinks and I will share a devotional. It is part of our Women's Ministry. So I have been busy tryong to figure out the counts.
