You are so brave, and at least you know what the doc wants/expects. I called the PS Doc's office and they said I couldn't even make an appointment until I had maintained my weight for 6 months. Good luck with the scale, don't worry about what it says (within reason), cause it can change by the hour. Have an awesome night! Jenni

Rebecca, I was hoping to have my arms done before the summer, but now I think I am going to wait until the fall. I can't see recuperating from surgery during the summer heat (but then it might not affect me the same way this year.) I just want to try and have it all done before I turn 50 which will be a little over two years. Take care Sue

Thank you, Kim! I had heard at my support group that sometimes the stomach can be covered by insurance, but I think it's like WLS, some do, some don't, sometimes you have to jump through hoops and sometimes you don't. Thanks so much for your encouraging words! Sue

Today, I am trying to drink water instead of putting anything in my mouth! I bought some of that Laughing Cow cheese stuff thinking I have seen folks eat it on here, there isn't much protein in it (2.5 per wedge). I am trying so hard, and that is all we can do, is not give into the cravings, and if we do give in well it is like riding a bike we get up and start again. This isn't like a "diet" where we have to do this and do that, it is a lifestyle change, we have changed. Now we have to keep it up, and everyday isn't going to be as easy as our first 6 months. It is work now, protein, water, vitamins, more protein, more gas.....LOL Each day is a new day and we have to use our tools to the best of our knowledge we know what is right and wrong to eat, we just have to as Nike says "Just Do It"! We have all done so well, and we will all struggle with things forever, we now know what we are fighting for, God and our surgeon's helped us to get the weight off, its now up to us to keep it off. I don't have will power, but I like this body and want to keep it healthy and I need to watch what I eat and exercise to get it! Sorry this is so long but I needed to type it so I can also get it in my head...... Good luck!
