sorry to hear about the pain surgery date buddy I am not where i wanted to be by now, but that's okay...i only have myself to blame...eating too many carbs and not excercising... I am down 90 lbs had wanted to be down 100 and have been stuck pretty much since thanksgiving week......i do go up and down the same couple lbs...i guess since thanksgiving i'm down about 5 lbs but tomorrow i could be back up 3 lbs....ya just never know... congrats on your loss though your doing great....i'd like to loose nother 45lbs... I ended up having pain on my right side and nobody could figure out what was going on, so as a last resort I ended up back at my surgeons office. He was actually doing surgery that day but went back to his office afterward just to see me...(i'm telling you he is such an awesome man) anyway, he ended up admitting me on Wed and told me one way or the other we would get to the bottom of it and figure out what was going on. Not to mention I had gotten myself seriously dehydrated, my potassium was very low to the point I was dizzy if I stood up, my vision was blurry and I was very very weak. Anyway, so he puts me in and starts running tests and hydrating me. Ends up that he calls in another doctor because the pain is right at the base of my ribs. Long story short they ended up doing a nerve block on 3 of my ribs on saturday and I have been pain free so far. He did tell me it could be permanant or it could wear off so we will just have to wait and see. So that brings me up to date and just a little kicker....i've now lost 205lbs! To answer some of the questions, yes with the revision I did have to start all over with liquids etc again, which I wasn't looking forward to but to not be in pain it's worth it! I just hope it is smooth sailing from here. I hope everyone is doing well...we are coming up on our 1 year mark!!!!! Is everyone where they thought they would be????? Hey Girlfriend...we all have changed so much in this past year and we will continue to change and grow in ways that we cannot begin to see yet. I know last night in the van with my Pastor's wife as we were getting ready to go into this church where the ladies' nite out was..I started to tear up and I said to my sweet friend..."I just thank the Lord that I don't have to be afraid anymore or have to pray to Lord to please not let me be the biggest woman in ths place anymore"...she didn't realize how hard it is to enter a new place and know that people's eyes are looking at you in a way that hurts. Even though they love you as a fellow believer we all know that people wonder how did she get that big, why doesn't she do something...and so on. so I was just overwhelmed with gratitude to the Lord for settnig me free from that bandage and guilt and for letting me live the life He desired for me to live along. He has definitately restored to me the years the locusts had eaten of my life as the Bible says. And I am forever grateful for His wisdom and guidance and provision for this surgery. You guys make me feel like part of the family and I pray for each of you even the lurkers daily that the Lord would reveal Himself to each of you. In His love and gratefulness, Joan M

I just checked out your photos. They are just great, your look wonderful. It is so amazing to me to see how far we all have come in just one year. I have no doubt that you will make your own goal in the near future. Take care of that knee, be careful. After I injured one knee then relying on my good one so much I ended up injuring that one too, but I was at that time over 300lbs so that only added to the strain. Thanks for sharing. Sher
