My husband and I participate in a history recreation group. We went to a big event on Saturday, and at the end of the night one of my friends came up to me and apologized for not speaking with me during the day. I wear a type of crown, and he said he saw me from across the room and wondered why a strange woman was wearing Linda's crown! 
At another event a few weeks ago, a friend's SO asked her who the woman was that she was speaking with at the event. "You know, the one that sort of looked like Linda, if Linda lost 100 pounds."

I have wow moments everyday and I have a hard time accepting them sometimes... My DH tells me how beautiful I am... he buys me little gifts.. he seems so much sweeter to me then he was a year ago.... is that because I'm a happier person??
My DD's both tell me how proud they are of me.. and my youngest tells me to stop taking her clothes...LOL!
I coach a high school equestrian team and have had several parents think that I'm one of the athletes instead of the adult out in the arena. I'm having so much fun riding my horse, my horse is liking it better too

Oh yes Jenni it has been an awesome year for each of us here and each story is unique and special...I iwsh I had my parents or grandparents alive to see me too you are soooo blessed.. and you truly are beautiful!!

Well I havent had any wow moments since I am trying to get out of this plateau, but you all are the reason that I am still trekking along.
You all are so great, and supportive that it makes me try even harder lose it. I have tried to mix up my exercising so maybe that will help the slump that I am in.
I am just so grateful for God for making this wls an option so that I can lose the weight and I am grateful for how great I feel and look so much better than I have since 1990.
Thanks everyone for being there for me when I need you the most.

Joan thank you for being such an awesome person! I am now sitting at my desk with tears in my eyes!
Isn't it amazing what 11 months can do, I thought I would lose weight but never imagined I would feel this good, or even look this good.
My WOW moment was last night, my grandparents whom I had not seen since about 100 pounds ago. My Grandpa didn't recognize me until I said hi, and he was in my driveway. My Grandma started to cry, telling me how beautiful I was she was just amazed. She got home and called my Aunts to tell them how good I look! LOL... It does feel good!
I thank God for everything he has given me over the past year!

Julie that is so cool!! Ialways laugh when I fold the laundry now...I can hardly believe these are MY clothes I am folding and hanging up....You will make goal and probably even lower than your goal. I didn't think it was possible either but it is.

The Gap now isn't that for teeny boppers? HAHAHA Aren't we all teeny boppers now compared to what we were prior WLS!! Hooray for you Jenn!!! I love Capris especially since I have sharpai (sp) legs!!!!
