Topic: high protein PB&J sandwich...help!
Hello,
A little while back I recall someone posting that they had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that was less than 10 carbs and about 20 grams of protein...if I recall it was polanders sf jelly, peter pan low carb PB, and fit for life brand low carb bread...is this correct?
Where do I purchase these items?
I have looked high and low and no such luck so far..I would like to try it as I never get nearly enough protein in each day and this would surely help alot!
I am just a bit nervous about bread as I have not had it really since surgery last year!

Joan, I know what you mean about just bending over one year ago. Scrubbing floors though---don't know if that is a plus or not!!!
Hope you knees were padded. Julia

Congratulations on reaching your 1 year milestone.
Your pictures are great. Isn't it wonderful to feel so good. I agree about being worth all the money. I did get my insurance to pay but had the money ready just in case, as I was having this surgery one way or the other! Julia

I don't regret a single dime. I can't think of anything else I could have bought w/ that money that would give me this much pleasure. 24/7
I will have to wait till next month to get my labs done, plus my surgeon does an upper gi....has anyone else had to do that?
My hair has grown back in like mad but my nails are so thin.
I wish I was as compliant as I used to be......
I haven't been exercising and I fight the sugar monster at night...ok I don't fight very hard! The beauty of it is tomorrow is another day with my wonderful tool!
I'm not hopeless anymore......that is worth a million.

I am interested in that and the muffin recipe. I asked before but I guess you missed the post.
Can you or Jenn explain to Amy how to add her pic to her avatar? I am such as loser at that....

Thanks, Kathleen. I am happy, not just because I look better, but because I feel so much better! No more diabetes, sleep apnea and lot of energy. I know I have added many more quality years to my life and that's really what it is all about! All my best, Lisa
