Great job Carolyn, I am so happy that you made you goal weight. This past year has been good to us, and I am so happy that I had this surgery. I feel and look so much better than I did a year ago.
Keep up the great work and post when you can.

Topic: 1 Yr Anniversary - a little late
Well - I had my 1 year anniversary on April 18th - YEAH!!!.
I also hit my initial goal weight then too (150 lbs).
I still want to loose 10 - 20 lbs if I can - we'll see.
I've posted a few new pics on my site and did an update for my anniversary day.
A year certainly has made a big difference in all our lives. Thank god for all the surgeons out there that have given us back our lives.

Oh Dear Jaon,
May God grant you the peace in your heart that you deserve right now so that you can handle situations that are going on in your life. I am thinking about you and please DO come back and start these wonderful daily postings when you can...we will miss you greatly!
And remember...the clouds will soon seperate and flashings of peace will apprear very soon...I say this because my family has had a very trying few months. My husband is in the military so he has been off and on back and forth to Kuwait every few weeks for a few weeks at a time, in January his mother passed away from cancer...then just three weeks later his father "disapeared and over 8 weeks later his body was found on a back road (no foul play involved) so we are still dealing with that...my 2 year old and my 9 year old daughter's had tonsils and adenoids removed (surgery) and my youngest had tubes put in...and my teenager all of a sudden was suicidal and thank the Lord that she is on medication and has been doing well for several weeks now...I did not mean to put my "dirt" out there for everyone to read or feel sorry for me...I just really wanted to tell you that if you believe in God and his wonders he will ensure your happiness!

I am overwhelmed with emotions right now due to family problems (sister) and getting our house ready to sell and move to Colorado...so for now I will be stopping the Ethel posts.
I have to pick and choose what is needful and right now with homeschool and all I can't devote more time to this post...I have loved it and it has helped me so much.
Thanks for your participation.
Love each of you,
