Sue, what a great accomplishment for yourself and for raising so much money for charity. Your son is proud even if he was unable to express his feelings to you, that's kids. Keep up the good work.

Jen - no way I took it as bragging. You should have read my surgiversary post! I can't believe anyone would send you nasty messages. You have done awesome and it sounds like you followed orders. I am doing cardio and weight training 4 days a week. I might have to increase that to match you. You should be so proud of yourself - I know I am proud of you!
Topic: Just saying hi!
I've been really BAD BAD about posting! Life has just taken off ... kind of left me draggin' behind
I hope this finds everyone doing well and celebrating their one year surgiversaries!
I have since started a new job and has just really bumfuddled my routine of life lol
I've been slacking on water, exercise, and protein for the past two weeks because of it. But, I'm working on it!
At any rate... like I said, I hope everyone is doing well!

Honestly, I think i lost way too quickly! it has been a wirlwind of a year, and dont think i am complaining, i am not at all. i eat protien protien protien, first then i will eat veggies and fruit (a little bit) i have a hard time with alot of fruit, but i seem to do ok if i go to tropical smoothie cafe and get the smoothies made with splenda and fresh fruit. i add whey to it. it takes me all day if not 2 days to drink it, but its SSSOOO good.
i also started working out as soon as he released me.....starting with just cardio, then moving up to some weight training when allowed.(6 days a week) i followed everthing i was supposed to do to the letter...well i didnt puree my food....stayed on soft food a bit longer....but thats about it......i have tried a few things that i prob shouldnt have...but only a bite or two, and most of those things made me as sick as a dog, so i wont go back to them.
i am trying now to build muscle....it is a challenge....
i really hope that no one took my post as bragging ( i have had a few NASTY private msg) i was just trying to share my story.....i am so proud to have had this chance. i am so VERY VERY proud of all of us!!! i hope you all have had a wonderful year, and nothing more but happiness to follow in the coming year!!!
take care~
