Hello I posted a message on Tuesday, but looking her now, I see I must not have pressed the accept button, because I don't see it???? Anywho, I had my 1 year appointment on my 1 year anniversary, Tuesday, April 24th. I have exceeded the doctors goal. I have lost 88% of my weight and he told me I could stop if I wanted...but I told him I wanted to get to 150 pounds, so I have 20 more to go! I have lost a total of 130 pounds! I posted a new picture on my page. He also told me I could pursue my plastics now if I wanted! I am going to wait a few more months and then look into it. My blood pressure was 100/60. Total cholestrol was 129. All my other blood work was above average. I only take two medications now. Zertec for allergies and Synthroid for thyroid. Other than that...NOTHING! Everything else has been resolved. I don't have to go back to see him for a year! (B12 will be checked at the 18 month mark) and results sent to dr. I am happy with my body in clothes...but naked! Yuk! I don't think husband is too thrilled either...but hey! Give me time...I will fix it.! Shelly

Sarah, I agree with the other ladies about the clutter and how we feel. LOL because my house well the laundry and my bedroom re cluttermonsters! What we did to ourselves (WLS) wasn't something most of us did over night, we read, we researched, we cried, we thought for countless hours and we prayed then put it in God's hands. I struggle daily with the thought of I want this (food), I want that, but you know what I had this and I had that and it was not my friend look what it did to me. Then I try to drink water, do something else to get my mind off that snack or that sugar. We have a tool and only that, we have to use it. It sounds to me like you have it back in control, everyone has crash moments, we are all human. We all need to get our feelings out, in some way or another we just CAN NOT use food as a "friend" or as a comforter, it is not our friend and most is not very user friendly. You are not alone on this journey and I am thankful you shared your feelings because you not the only one. Sending you hugs, Jenni p.s. Tomorrow is a new day and the first anniversary of the new you!
