What did you eat ?
Hi all
I thought that this might be a good thread to start posting daily . I figure it will help us all to get new idea's of thing's to eat b/c we all get board of the same thing's over and over . I also figure since we are all so close with our surgery date's that we are all eating ar drinking pretty much in the same phases as someone else ! So I will start . If you don't see me on the board by at least noon time everyday then go ahead and post this thread so we can keep it going daily !
They do this on the New York board daily and it get's great response !
B- 2 TBLS. OATMEAL
2 TBLS. TURKEY BACON
2 TBLS. BANANA
L- 2 TBLS. STEAK
1 TBLS. CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP
2 TBLS. RICOTTA CHEESE (FAT FREE)
1 TSP. TOMATO SAUCE
D- 2 TBLS. PORK TENDERLOIN
2 TBLS. CARROTS
2 TBLS. ZUCCHINI
2 TBLS. COTTAGE CHEESE
ALL THIS IS PUREED FOOD PER MY SURGEON'S ORDERS .
I ALSO HAD BEFORE BOTH LUNCH AND DINNER :
4 OZ. CARB COUNTDOWN CHOC. MILK MIXED WITH
4 OZ. SKIM MILK AND
1/2 SCOOP DESIGNER WHEY PROTEIN POWDER (1 SCOOP =18 GRAM'S PROTEIN)
IT IS CHOCOLATE FLAVOR TOO .
I ALSO HAD DECAF COFFEE , TEA AND WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY AS WELL !
SO THERE YOU HAVE WHAT I ATE YESTERDAY . HOW ABOUT YOU ?

I might not be able to post daily, but here goes for yesterday:
Breakfast: 1/4 cup Weigh****chers cereal
1% milk (for cereal - to soften)
Dannon Light n'Fit Yogurt (6 oz)
Lunch: 1/2 cup egg salad (w/low fat mayo)
applesauce (4 oz - no sugar added)
Dinner: 1 oz baked chicken tender (no breading)
1/4 cup baked potato
1/4 cup green beans
I also had a Healthy Choice Fudge Bar for my evening snack. I drank water and iced tea throughout the day and I had an IDS New Whey protein drink (fruit punch) w/25 grams of protein. That's it for me!

Breakfast:
1/4 cup of Ricottoa/cottage cheese mixed
snack
protein drink
Lunch
3/4 cup of soup puree I made:
1 zucchini
1 yellow sqash
1 carrot
1 tsp garlic
pepper
1 can diced toms italian style
cook to death and puree
snack
mozarella cheese stick
dinner
1/2 cup mashed potatoes
snack
s/f popsicle

Breakfast: Isopure Chocolate protein powder (25 gms**** 1 T. lite cool whip and
8 oz. Lactaid (8 gms)
Lunch: 1/4 C. egg salad with lite mayo and 3 saltines
Dinner: 1/4 c. Wendy's chili with 1/2 T. lite shredded cheese and 1 T. ff sour creme
3 saltines
Snack: 1/4 frozen banana with 1 scoop Isopure Vanilla protein powder (25 gms)
8 oz. Lactaid, ice and 1/8 tsp. banana flavoring (yum)

This is a really great idea, Carolee! I am desperate for new food ideas and what better way to get them!
Yesterday...
Breakfast:
Soft scambled egg with 2 tbls 2% cheddar cheese
Snack:
1/2 cup Sugarfree pistachio pudding (made with protein powder added)
Lunch:
1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce
made with low sugar sauce, crumbled up vegetarian meatballs, 2% mozarella cheese and topped with sprinkling of pecorino romano cheese
Snack:
1/4 cup no sugar added applesauce sprinkled with cinnamin
1 sugar free popsicle
Dinner:
1/4 cup of ground up chicken breast cooked with mesquite flavoring and mixed with light mayo
1/4 cup of ground up green beans, flavored with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder
Snack:
another 1/2 cup of the pistachio pudding (I really love that stuff!)
All day long, I sipped on my very favorite drink, apple nectar extasy protein powder and ice cold water. Gives 23 g of protein per scoop, 1 scoop per 14oz of water (1 bottle for me) and I drank 3 full bottles during the day....giving me 69 g of protein just from that!

Today I had
breakfast
1/2 of a turkey sausage
1 hard boiled egg
lunch
2 multigrain crackers with squirt cheese
1 thin slice of deli turkey
dinner
1 oz of boneless turkey breast
1tbs of potatoe supreme it is really good and not too high in calorie
Potatoe Supreme recipe if you want it
1 10oz bag of hashbrown potatoes cubes
1 pint of fatfree sourcream
1 can of fatfree chickensoup
1 10 0z pk of lowfat shredded cheddar cheese
1 stick of light butter
1/4 cup of chopped onions
15 low fat ritz crackers
preheat oven at 350*
take a 13x9 pan melt butter in pan,
mix all ingredients together except the crackers in the pan of butter.
then top with crushed cracker crumbs
bake for 1 1/2 hours and enjoy I will find out the calories and fats and so forth in it but it is made pretty healthy
