Sensitive Tummy
I keep reading about people that have put on clothes they haven't worn in a while and finding that they are too big - which is a GREAT thing for them.
For me however - I'm losing weight but my tummy was swollen for so long and I wonder if it still is. I can't stand anything around my tummy it literally hurts. When I get dressed I find the biggest things I can find so as to be comfortable. And when home half the time its pulled so low down my teenage daughter said I look like one of the teenage boys that wear their clothes down around their ass with the underwear showing and their crotch down at their knees - lol - a pretty picture for a 40 + yr old woman right......
Yesterday I tried on a pair of jeans that I used to wear before surgery and they wouldn't go handy to me - so I still must be pretty swollen I guess.
I'm almost 3 weeks out and planning on going back to work soon but if I don't get over this I can't see how I'll last the day. (I'm not a dress person so don't have dresses to wear and can't see going to buy them when they'll be too big in a month. Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last. Tks.

hi carolyn,
my tummy is still swollen. now mind you I had lap rny then they had to do open so I have plenty of scars. I have put on my old jeans but they are still just not comfortable to me. I notice my tummy swells when I have walked a good bit that day, also my tummy has sore spots and some spots are just plain super sensitive. I am waiting till its 8 weeks and I can do everything again.
