My first Post Op Dr. Visit

I went today and I've lost 25 lbs. Strange but I don't feel like I've lost anything at all. I saw the Nurse Practioner. She said I'm doing great so just keep doing what I've been doing and follow the food schedule I have. She took my bandage off (it was clear and looked like I had a 5x7 piece of saran wrap over the incision). I have a thin pink line now and that's it. I'm cleared for driving and light exercise (walking and stretching). They told me I could so some housework but I wasn't supposed to vacuum or carry laundry baskets. She just said listen to your body and rest when you need it. I go back on June 1st for my next visit. Hopefully I'll be cleared to use the gym. I can't wait for that. My surgeon has a gym attached to his office and you get three months free after your surgery (three months from the date you are allowed to go to the gym not from your surgery date). There are trainers to teach you how to do everything too. Lizzie

Wow... Way to go!!! I don't have my first post op until the 12th. almost 3 weeks out from my surgery. I don't feel like i've lost any weight either, but my DH says that my face looks thinner. LOL... Good luck with everything
