Hey everyone! I am officially 14 days out and am down 30 pounds as of this morning. I am not having any problems getting in the protein or fluids, but I must admit I am getting sick of the same old thing every day food wise. I have GOT to find some new meals to try. Anyone have any favorites they would like to share??? Lisa L. 380/350/170

hi there.. i know exactly what you're talking about.. so here are some things i've had.. blended tuna salad with a 1/2 slice of 2% american cheese melted on top. blend 1/8c ricotta, 1/8c cottage cheese, 1 spoonful tomato sauce, dash of italian seasoning, and a big pinch of FF mozzarella - heat in microwave til melted. steam 1c cauliflower, blend it with 1/4c cottage cheese, some light cream cheese and/or sour cream, and then add FF cheddar while you heat it back up.. kind of like a cheesy mashed potato, without the potato. this was my first attempt at a vegetable, and with all the cheese, gave it some protein, too! hope this helps! kristen 327/313/150ish 12days post op

Way to go Lisa!! Here are some things I've had this week: Wendy's chili - chewed very slowly with 2-3 saltines canned chicken salad mixed up in the magic bullet with dill relish with saltines hot crab dip with saltines: 2 oz. lite cream cheese, 1/2 c. fat free cottage cheese, (blend these 2 first and add the rest by hand), small 6 oz. can lump crabmeat or small can baby shrimp, 1/4 c. lite mayo, 1/4 c. shredded 2% cheese, 2 T. Dijon mustard, pepper to taste, and can add 2 T. horseradish (I didn't have any so I didn't add). Heat up for couple of minutes and let cool. Yum. I had 1/4 c. of this with 2-3 saltines. Denise Tonight I'm gonna try Taco Bell beans and cheese (I think) What are you having?

Congratulations Lisa.... 30 lbs is awesome ! I'm not having anything exciting. I mixed tuna fish with cottage cheese today and had that for lunch. I had leftover pureed turkey with a little cream of chicken soup in it to make it moist and I put that on two low fat triscuits and heated it in the microwave for about 10 seconds. I had that for dinner.

Ok, my favorite is cottage cheese mixed with sugar free rice pudding. May sound bad, but it does taste good. Also, my mom made some egg sandwiches last night and I just ate the egg. Not bad if I do say so myself. Hope this helps. Jenn
