Home from surgery.

Finally Surgery was Tuesday, I spend the night in Cardiac ICU because I had just gotten my CPAP the week before and they were 'concerned' about my reaction to it coming out of anesthesia. Discharge was supposed to be Thursday but I was running a low grade fever, elevated pulse and blood pressure so had a chest x-ray which showed I hadn't fully reinflated the lower sacs in my lungs so I got another night to make sure I was breathing better and not going to get pneumonia (I didn't, thank goodness). Got home Friday and settled in, finding that some of the things they suggested to eat (cream based soups especially) are too heavy so I'm doing more liquids and such. So far all is well, no nausea or anything, gastro system working well. I am amazed to not feel hungry though. Its so strange! And my pouch / intestines talk to me more than I ever noticed before!
