I'm Back - 1 Week out of Surgery
Hi everyone - my surgery was done on the 18th laparscopically and went well - have 6 little incision scope sites. I came home Friday evening. I live in a 2-storey so going up and down stairs was the first challenge but it is getting better. I was really tired the first couple of days but have been sitting up downstairs most of the past few days. Trying to do more walking around the house today and spending some time on the PC. Hoping tomorrow I might actually get dressed and start to feel human again. It's starting to get hard to not do the housework if you know what I mean. Did a few dishes today (slowly) didn't want to bend over the sink too much. And folded some laundry.
I'm not eating much but everything has gone down ok and I've had no problems - just worried that I'm not getting enough water. It has to be practically ice or I don't want it and the crystal lite I used to love doesn't taste the same. Hopefully that will go away as time goes by. (I was a real diet coke fanatic so water was much to bland). I've practically just been eating ice chips to get my water intake and that's probably not enough. I'm not peeing much now that the fluids from the hospital are out of my system.
Hope all my Surgery Buddies and April Buddies are doing well. Will love to hear all your stories and can share more of my story if any one is interested.
Angel Hugs
