Drains are out!OUCH!!

hi all, First I have to say 17 lbs down in 10 days yeah baby!!! Well I have to be honest with you and I'm one tough cookie that HURT!The only good thing is its over very fast.She said ready (I wasn't) and she let it rip.I couldn't breath for a second then I just kept taking deep breaths and waited to calm down.I had taken pain meds before we left but we waited 3 hrs to see the doc.Today I feel good, sleeping was much easier and I was able to drive the kids to school! Today I'll be able to take a real shower and not worry about gettig my belly to wet. Everyday you feel beter and better I'm looking forward to an exciting summer Love to all Donna

Hi donna I'm sorry that you did not have a pleasant experience with the drains being removed I had WLS on 4/12 and it was done open and I didn't have a drain. But I was writing to say congrats and to see how you surgery was progressing. I wish you continued success. Be blessed,latoya
