6 days post op

Hello everyone, First let me say you guys are the best friends anyone could have. Thankyou for all your support. I've been home since Sat. after only 2 days in the hosp. I wanted to go home and since I was doing well they let me. I tried going off the demerol a few days ago cause of wierd jagged dreams, but I had such a rough night last night I took one to get some rest. I don't know if it's after effects of anesthetia or what but my feelings are whacky. Dreams are emotional. I'm getting around real well. Pain and discomfort occasionally, not all the time. I've been on pureed foods since day 3. Eating is way easier than drinking. I chew, chew, chew and it all goes down well. I burp ALOT. I'm still pretty swollen. My six little incisions look great. I had my gall bladder removed as well. The 1st day was the worst, but I just kept pushing that button! I'll add that I had to have air blowing on me the whole time in the hosp and still now I use a fan....cept my feet are cold..lol! My face is hot all the time. Time to rest...Cc
