April 18th is my day

Well tomorrow is the big day!!!!! I'm both excited and nervous. I know in my heart I've made the right decision but the brain keeps thinking OMG what are you doing? I've waited 2.5 years for this so there's no way I'm backing out now. I'm very glad that this is being done in one of the hospitals in the city I live in so no travel involved. My family and friends can visit me every day. Also I will have unlimited follow up with my surgeons. In fact, once you are their patient you are their patient for life. They have specific follow up's for the first year then after that they see you at least every year even if things are going perfectly. I've been keeping busy with house work, etc. I don't work today it's a STAT Holiday for me. I won't get my call to tell me when to go to the hospital until after 4:00 so it will be a long day kinda. I just want to wish everyone having surgery tomorrow good luck and I'll be back in a while to share my story. Keep smilin' folks. Carolyn
