RNY next Monday!!

Hey everyone!! I'm having my bypass next Monday!! I only have a few days left of work and the days are flying by lately. I'm sooooo excited and ready for this all to be over and done with. At the same time, I'm soooo scared! My nerves are shot and I'm totally anxious, but ready to go!! My parents are flying up to take care of me for a few weeks. I've my medical leave all approved and everythings ready to go. I go in Tues for all my preop stuff. I hope Dr Thirlby is as good as everyone says he is!! Wish me luck!! Thanks to everyone for all their support and words of wisdom. I don't post on the message boards much, but I've heard from alot of you out there. If it weren't for this website I don't know what I'd do. Take care and see you on the losing side!! Michelle

Michelle, I see we have the same date!! I just dropped in to let you know that everything you are feeling it perfeclty normal. I am feeling the same way. I've even managed to make myself a little sick, if you get my drift, from all the nerves. Good luck to you on your journey and know that I will be going through it with you. Hi Michelle, Im having surgery on 4/24 as well and Im feeling all the same emotions as you. I ready to come out on the liter side of things . Hello everyone. I too am having surgery on April 24th at 7:45 a.m. I am just praying I don't catch the cold my husband and daughter have right now or they will cancel me! I am having the LAP-RNY. I took 2 weeks full time and 1 week part time off work. I will pray we all do well!!
