Hey! I had my surgery on the 5th... home on the 7th... I am doing ok, a little pain in my left side, but something some Tylnol won't help! I am down 19lbs today, and will start blenderized next week, and soft foods on the 25th Good luck to everyone! -emily

Hello!! I had my surgery on the 11th and was released on the 13th. I am doing pretty well, the spot/area that bothers me most is my upper left side..not sure if it is from where the drain was, or just part of the recovery....otherwise, I am getting about my hotel slowly!! We fly back home Wednesday after my post-op appt. Tuesday!!! I have been doing Isopure to get my protein in--I know if I drink at least one glass I get 50g of protein, so I am striving to finish 2 glasses a day!! Just on liquids for 4 weeks, although my doc said I could try a bite of yogurt (if it is as low in sugar and fat as I can find I should be fine). The going to the bathroom (#2) was something I wasn't expecting...it started after I got released, but it is hard to determine if it is gas or a BM coming---LOL, I hope I'm not the only one with this issue!!! Good Luck to the rest of you!!!

Jessica, You are not the only one with the #2 issue. I was just telling someone that the things they don't tell you to have on hand for after the surgery are diapers and protective pads for the furniture. Jeanne
