Hi my name is Marie and I am having Lap RNY on april 25. I am very nervous and excited at the same time. I have a question I hope someone can help me with. I read about unjury.com how they have unflavored protein that you can add to any drink. Can I use this instead of drinking protiein shakes? I hope someone can help me, thanks for listening and I hope that everyone surgery goes great.

I dont see why not. It looks good to me. You will just have to make sure you use 3 scoops a day. Jennifer

Hi Marie, and Welcome! I share your emotions, I'm two days behind you . I've heard a lot of people using the unflavored protein, you can add it to any drinks (that you're allowed to have) and also to s-f puddings but that it didn't do well in s-f jello. As long as you're getting the protein. Some people have bought things and tried pre-op then post-op their tastes changed completely and they couldn't handle stuff they did pre-op. I'm planning on getting a little of this and a little of that and figuring it out by trial and error.

Hi I am new also. Surgery set for 4-18! Beneprotein is flavorless and adds the protein to basically anything. Good luck

The other ladies are right, you can use the unflavored protein powder in clear broth, drinks, pudding, instead of protein shakes. I have heard of Beneprotein, but I found a product that is "Natural Flavor" Soy Protein Powder at the grocery store that also works well in everything. I haven't noticed any flavor to it at all. My docs also include 2 servings of No Carb Carnation Instant breakfast, a quarter cup of s-f applesauce, and 6 oz of sugar free natural fruit or vegetable juice each day. Best of luck too ya Marie! I am using the BeneProtein and it works well. It is only available here through Wallgreens.com.. but it is only $10.99 and free shipping to your door. Can't beat that. good luck on your journey. Sam~~
