48 Hours in the Hospital
And I am HOME.
Checked in at 8:30 Monday, surgery around 11am, was up and walking that night (to everyone's amazement), was ready to go home Tuesday, but they kept me one more night to be safe.
Came home at 9:00 this morning, feeling great! Still pretty unsure about portion sizes and all that (I'm erring on the side of caution), but everythign has been fine so far. No nausea, no vomit, no unbearable pain... Just some sort of head cold I have to shake. Anytime anything gets done to my throat (tubes and stuff) I get sick.
So far, it was worth it. I'm going to start being conscious of my choices and trying to get the protein stuff sorted out tomorrow... Today was my transition from clear to full liquids, so I got kind of messed up.
I stepped on the scale when I went to shower this morning and it said 260, so that is going to be my official starting weight. :P
260/260/145
YAY!
