SCALE VICTORY AND NONSCALE VICTORY

Well today was my one week post op visit with my doctor and I weighed 21.2 pounds less than my pre op weight on April 27th. He did caution me not to expect this again and he stated he really didn't want me to lose this much in a two week period again. However, for today...YEPEEEEEE!!!! NOW about the non scale victories.....I went house hunting for two of my kids going to college out of town on Saturday. Climbing in and out of our SUV just 6 days after surgery...never having to catch my breath because I CAN breath just fine. I climb stairs for the first time in about a year. No lost of breath here either. Plus the best of all...I am off of all my medicines...except for a little liquid pain med at night. My blood pressure has returned to normal and I already feel like a new person. I am so thankful to whomever came up the lapband...it sure has changed my life and that is only a one week old!
