An AMAZING transformation after WLS!
I found this awhile back and thought it was worth posting. Some of the pictures are VERY graphic so use caution when opening. We are (or should be) all aware of the possibility/probablity of having excess skin, especially with such a dramatic weight loss as in THIS story shows (223 pounds!).
It does concern me since, without insurance, I've struggled to find a way to HAVE the surgery, let alone if I'll be able to find a way to have reconstructive surgery afterwards. But if a door was opened for me to get this far, I'm hopeful another will open down the road.
And to quote Caroline from her transformation journey, "In sharing these photos, I hope that others who've had WLS and are left with an amazing amount of excess skin will realize that there is nothing to be ashamed of, that WLS is worth it despite the excess skin, and that hope is never lost."

I shared Caroline's picture's with my ... hmmm not sure what to call him, he is my ex bf but we are talking about getting back together and me moving to florida to be with him.....but it's hard to educate him on the stuff with the surgery with us so far apart.....
no one should go into this thinking they won't have skin issues, i already know that i will be having reconstruciton as soon as i'm allowed.
thank you for sharring these with the group today.
