Surgery Costs

So, today I found out that I am having to pay out of pocket for surgery. The cost of surgery is $15,000.00 Up front. Fortunately I have a source that I can do this with. However, it is still stressful to think that I personally am going to have to fight the insurance company for repayment. I know our insurance covers, but am I going to be too tired after surgery to fight this? I have 8 days left until surgery and now I am just finding out about this. I guess I didnt ask the right questions before. Oh well, no matter, I am getting it done no matter what. I cant "afford" to be obese anymore. ARGH!!!

Jennifer sorry to hear about this. I know you don't need anything else to worry about. How did this happen? Did the insurance approve then change their mind? Anyway u will be in my prayers and hope all go well. Karen
