Hi everyone, Today I had my endoscopy..Great sleep.:best I had in a while..They found a little bacteria and will test it..I have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow..I hope that doesn't change my date April 19. I know once I clear the DR. (hopefully)..Then the fear will set in..But oh my I want this done so bad...But at 55?????? Marianne

Hmmmm, I hear so many people having this endoscopy thing, but my surgeon isn't doing one on me. I guess I should be happy about that. I sure hope everything is ok on yours. Good luck. Cindee

Hey there Marianne, I did not have to have anything like that done but I am 45 and having my RNY next Tuesday the 11th. I am very apprhensive. Trying to take my mind off of it only makes me think about it more and want to ravage the kitchen for all the things and quantity that I know I will not have after the surgery. UGGGHHHHH!!!. Last Saturday, my daughter, 21mo. old grandaughter and I went shopping. I walke past an outfit hanging in the window of Sears and loved it, then we walked back out and I love it more. Upon leaving the mall, we had to pass by it one more time and I bought it in a size 13/14 with the t-shirt and lace see through jacket a large. I am a 22 and sometimes a 24 right now but I have been told that I will probably get to that size by late summer. I have that outfit hung on the back of my bedroom door as an incintive. Wow, I love it. The jeans are light blue with sparkles all over and on the rim of the pocket in the back and front are diamond looking stones in two rows. I cannot wait. Hey Marianne I had my endoscopy today too. Yes great sleep!!! I have gastritis that he said is probably caused by H Pylori. I have never stayed in the hospital moreover be put to sleep. I was shaking today, all went well. Dont worry, that wont change your date, I think you will get maybe a one week treatment. Stay positive...and Goodluck
