Who had a WOW moment(s) this week?

My WOW moment, or more a PHEW moment was that Yesterday, I did the final clean-up of the house (ie the house we've sold). Nothing left to do. Everything is finally out and the house is clean (except for the carpet, which is hopeless, I think they are replacing it anyway). It felt pretty good to finally have it all done.
The WOW of it was that when we started moving on 3/11, I was worn out after just a couple of hours. Yesterday I realized that I was not as tired. Just shows that even when one is heavy, regular exercise makes a difference.
Now...if only I can get everything unpacked before surgery.....hmmmmm.......................

Hi Gina
Congratulations
on YOUR wow moments! That is awesome and I wish you much continued success in your weight loss journey
.
I can't say that I've had WOW moments like I'm looking foward to having post-op, and I don't know that these 'count' as WOW moments.. but I wanted to join ya.... SO.....
My first WOW moment was when I read your post the other night, being here for support and encouragement to those of us just beginning our journey. I really was like, "WOW.. she's so cool to care enough to come be OUR cheerleader AND is so inspiring in her own accomplishments". What you wrote to all of us, especially the emphasis on this being OUR time to shine just touched me in a way that made me cry. A good cry
. So my first WOW moment was thanks to you
.
And my second WOW moment (does it count since it wasn't "last" week?) was when I sat down tonight and reflected on my day today... 1) It's Tuesday night, my last cigarette was on Sunday and maybe I really CAN do this. 2) I drank 64 ounces of water (which is a record for me). 3) I took 3 short walks today instead of 1. and 4) Although I pigged out at Red Lobster's Lobster Fest tonight, it was on lobster, crab legs, and salad -----NO potatoes or those YUMMY rolls which I could eat a hundred of!!
So unlike my
day yesterday, it was a very good day.. aside from the nerves
.

Lisa,
Thank you for your sweet words. You will have many WOW moments ahead of you and I can't wait to hear about them. I always wanted to be a cheerleader.
So, now I can be.
And your reflection does count as a WOW moment. You are already doing a great job, you will be a success. About the smoking
you can quit. I quit before surgery, not because it was required but, because I wanted too. I will admit though, I smoke again but when I have PS I am determined to quit for good this time. I wish you all the best.
Gina
