April 2006 Baby's
I just want to come and tell all of you how wonderful I think it is you have made the decision to change your life. Not only for health reasons or whatever reasons they might be but, to live life to the fullest. This truly is an incredible journey and I wish I could describe it in words but, I can't. 
Each one of you will have a different journey but, it is YOUR journey.
You will have bad days and good days. You will have days when you wonder if you made the right decision. When you have those blurps in the road I encourage to look at where you were before and then look at yourself that day and see how far you've come. No, WLS is not the answer to ALL of our problems but, it does answer ALOT of them.
You will all be emerging butterflies soon and have a story to tell of your triumph's, you will start having WOW moments. You will be in total disbelief and awe of yourself. I am going to start posting on here to starting Monday morning, I always post a "Who had a WOW moment(s) this week?" It gives you a chance to share your victory with others and for other's to continue to encourage you and support you. I am almost 1 year out and still have a WOW moment every week.
I wish each and everyone of you all the best. It's your turn to let your light shine. Go out and rise above all the rest, April Baby's. Make it happen it 2006. May you all have success throughout your journey's and know that everyone here at OH supports you and will give you advise when needed, please don't hesitate to ask.

Pre-Op/Surgeon's Goal/Today's Weight/Personal Goal

Thank you so much for those wonderful conforting words they really mean alot and thank you for taking to time to post here on the april board.....Yes it is a journey I am so ready to take, I know it isnt going to be easy but all I see is the end result and I know things will be ok.,....

This has been a long and drawn out process just to get here, I'm so looking forward to April 12th. I know the journey won't be smooth sailing everyday, but neither is life, and I'll take it one day at a time.
