Angels

Hello fellow April-ers, and congratulations on your up-coming surgeries. I know you all must be prancing with anticipation, as April is just a scoot around the corner. There has been a request for angels on this board, and I'm putting my name out in case anyone would like to have me as their angel. I had open RNY on April 25, 2005. I'm within 5-7 lbs of my personal goal, and I reached my surgeon's wanted BMI about 3 months ago. Like Gina posted, if I'm not within local distance of you, I can still contact you by phone or email if you wish. This is a very exciting time, and whether you know it yet, you will need a lot of help along the way. We all did, and still do at times. Everyone has a different road with this procedure, but everyone should follow the basics, and an angel can come in handy if you ever need someone to be there for you. Hi Katie! I would love to have you as my angel!! I read your page and saw your pictures and you've done SO WELL... I think you look absolutely awesome!! I can't wait to get started... my surgery is the day after tomorrow (4/5) in Sacramento (about 2 hours from home). I'm supposed to check in at 11 AM and surgery starts at 1:30PM. I'll be staying with family until 4/11, which is my first post-op appt. If the doctor gives me the okay, I'll be home by next weekend and will check in. I'm nervous and excited... mostly EXCITED!!! Susie, I'm so sorry I didn't get your response. The notification went straight to my spam mail folder and I glimsed it as I was browsing through it. Today's your big day!
