I'M BACK FROM VACATION!!!

Hi everyone.....I'm back home from the RV trip to Florida. We had a wonderful time! I have been so busy since my return that I haven't even had the time to check this message board. We had the ceilings and walls throughout the house painted while we were gone and when I returned on Monday there was A LOT of rearranging and dusting and vacuuming to do! I worked like a dog then had to come into work Tuesday and begin to catch up here (you think?). I've only had a chance to read a couple posts (LisaV - your post made me laugh out loud. I'm alive and well and missed everyone! I highly recommend going on vacation BEFORE surgery. I am now so busy that I haven't stressed about it at all. I had a presurgical appointment yesterday - signed my papers at admitting and they took some more blood and I met the anesthesiologist. I have one more appointment tomorrow with a nurse in my bariatric program who will go over again with me the post surgical diet I will be on and what to expect. All is moving very quickly now. Surgery is set for next Tuesday at 7:30 AM (I have to be there by 6:15 AM). I'm so glad it is an early surgery. I'm sure I'll post again before next Tuesday. I also have tuesday as my date, mine is at 8:15 am and I have to be there at 5:30, not to mention a 1 hr ride to hosp. Good luck to you I hope everything goes as planned. I pray you have a speedy recovery. Michele
