How do you get past the smell of the protein in the drintks....i bought some unflavored unjury and 3 different flavors (sample's) of nectar power but just can't get past the smell I only have 27 days until surgery and need to find something i can tolerate. I'm worried that after surgery before i can eat foot that i won't be able to get in my protein.... any help is greatly appreciated. Ruth Ann

Im not trying to advertise for anyone, but this is the only way I can discribe what I am talking about. http://cgi.ebay.com/Natures-Best-Isopure-Whey-Isolate-3lb-Chocolate_W0QQitemZ5542305517QQcategoryZ40963QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I have bought 6 pounds of this drink so far. Man, I have to tell you there is no smell, no "protien" taste. The chocolate is like drinking chocolate milk. The vanilla can be added to anything you want. It is the most wonderful stuff in the whole wide world. Not to mention the protien value is 50per serving. You wont be disapointed. Even my neighbor who just had surgery not to long ago said it tasts great. Jennifer

Ruthann, I bought the "AnyWhey"protein unflavored and it really doesnt have a smell but i tried it in some soup the other day and I could not even tell it was in there...........so try putting it in crystal light or pudding, jello anything that you are going to eat postop and see if that makes a differeance hugs lisa

Not intending to endorse any specific company either, however, I have had the same problem I didn't like ANY of the proteins, especially the smell....I found "Champion Nutrition", and it is great, I like the chocolate and the Coco Mochacina,,,,I know everyone has their own preferences, but these are good, and you can get samples to try it. Hope you find something that works for you. Vee

I just try really, really, REALLY hard not to smell them - a challenge since I smell new foods! Drinking out of a covered cup (like a travel mug) helps me. I've trien the Champion Nutrition in vanilla, it was really good mixed in with the orange flavored crystal light. I could drink it all day. But, so far, I haven't had one I didn't like except for the Nectar Cappachino. Hopefully, it will be the same post surgery (which is when I'm trying most of my samples). Melissa

I tried Naturade Soy and Naturade Soy protein powder that they had in the health food/vegetarian section of the local grocery store, and have not noticed a smell or flavor issue. I had to buy through the grocery store because I am currently on food stamps and although the protein is considered food (YEAH!!! Vitamins are not), Only places that sell alot of food (ie Grocery Stores) sign up to process food stamps. Just too inconvenient for the littler places. Heidi L-S
