YIKES!!! Welcome to all the new April folks!

Wow - I go away on vacation and the April board seems to have exploded with new folks sharing their good news. Congratulations to everyone who has posted a surgery date since 3/8. I am still on vacation (RVing in FL) but I made my husband take the laptop because I knew I wanted to be able to log in and catch up on everyone before I got home. This is the first chance I've had to log in so I had a lot to catch up on. I'm scheduled for surgery on 4/4 and it is getting closer by the minute. I'm just anxious to get it done - the waiting is just so stressful, don't you think? Best wishes to everyone...... Bonnie

Hi Bonnie! Where in Florida are you now? I'm in South Florida, would be great to meet you if you were close! I think it's wonderful you've been pre-occpupied with RVing while waiting for surgery. Have a safe journey back home and I wish you all the best with your surgery and recovery! ~ Lisa

Hi Lisa - we're outside of Tampa at Lazydays RV Center right now. We just left the Bradenton area and we're now heading north...back to the cold weather. I would have loved to see you! Take care...and keep in touch. Best wishes..... Bonnie

Hi, I see you're in Florida, My best friend just moved there about three weeks ago, to port charlotte I belive, needless to say I sure do miss her , and wish she was going to be here for my surgery, she's been my rock as well as my husband through this whole process, now shes gone, we talk almost every day though. Can you tell I'm anixous about the surgery just rambling on. sorry. Take care, Perry W.

Vacation was the best thing I could have done before surgery....don't have a lot of time to dwell on the upcoming big event. The weather has been great and I'm glad I'm not in NH where it is pretty cold and windy as I understand it. Take care! Bonnie

I am set for April 5 with Dr Nestor de la Cruz in Miami, Florida. i am so anxious and getting nervous and curous onho I will only be able to eat a lil bit. I can't wait.

Bonnie, Hugs How is FL bet it is beautiful.....yes we have added alot of people since you have been gone now I have to get on everyday just to keep up.......we are going to have a big reunion group for next year I can already tell...... Hey Bonnie - it must be nice in Florida - I'm from Alberta, Canada and we were having a perfectly lovely, no snow (can you believe it) winter until the end of Feb early March - now we've got lots of snow and I can't wait for spring to come and to be able to walk down the streets and admire the lovely trees and flowers. I'm jealous of all of you that live down south and never get snow. But hey I'm a hearty Canadian......At least my kids had a fantastic ski trip to the mountains last weekend. Lots of fresh powder. Who knows, maybe next year I'll be able to join them....me on skis going down a mountain side.......somehow can't picture that one. Anyway - congrats on your surgery date.
