Had a LBL on Jan 28th.

Hello All I had my lower body lift on Jan. 28th. and I am back to work part time this week. Should be back full time on the 25th. All went well, they managed my pain very good! I do however have an open wound on the incision at the top of my butt. It is a very common spot to open and there are a few others on the PS board dealing with the same wound. I love my tummy and thighs. He took 10 pounds of skin off me. So I am now in a size 10/12. (155 pounds). I hope to do my BL/BA in September. Have to start saving again. LBL cost me $14,500. Yiks! Will take some pictures soon. Shelly

Shelly, That is a lot skin and a lot of cash! I am still to chicken and poor, but someday! Glad to hear it went well, hope the wound heals up quickly. Looking forward to seeing the picture. Jenni

Congrats Shelly, I had my LBL on 1/9 and am pretty much all healed, except for probably the same spot on the butt. I have had to use a cream and gauze on it for weeks, but my surgeon is going to close it in the office on Monday under local anesthesia. Doesn't it feel wonderful to see yourself in the mirror without the hanging stomach? I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures. Sue
