Hi all just curious how??
Hi Lynn and everyone. I check in here once in awhile and hope everyone is doing great. Won't be long before we will be 2 years out. Can hardly believe it has been that long. My highest weight was 321 at 5' 4.5" tall. Today I am at 152 and have been as low as 151.2. I want to reach a normal BMI of 147.5 pounds but the going is very slow now. I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon on 2-18-08 and hope to have a TT by late summer and maybe a breast lift/reduction at the same time or later. I will be so glad to get rid of my tummy. Julia
I weighed 414 right before surgery. I now weigh 295. Burns me up that I haven't lost more. But that is the way the cookie crumbles. I'm almost two years out and I am still fat enough to have WLS. LOL If insurance would pay for it, I would do it again to lose another hundred pounds.
Are you not losing either?
Jennifer
Okay:
March 2006: 399lbs (starting)
April 2006: 371lbs (preop)
Lowest: 165lbs
Today: 170lbs.
I tend to go between 165 and 170 with no particular rhyme or reason. I do know that at certain times during the month (ha) I now notice (where I never did before) that I tend to GAIN along the lines of 7-8 or sometimes even 10LBS OF WATER. But as soon as that goes away, the water goes with it. I guess it happens to everyone, but it's new to me. Right now, I'm still in the process of shedding the extra water, so within a few days, I should be right back down to maybe 166-168 which is where I am most of the time.
I would like to get rid of the last 15, but I guess now I'm just like Joe Average and have to work hard to get that done, haha.
