Fashion Show

Hello April Buddies, early last month I posted that the hospital where I had my surgery was hosting a bariatric surgery fashion show and they asked me to be a model. Well the show was this past Saturday and to say it was the time of my life is an understatement. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had in my life. I was #5 going out on the stage and they had my before picture up on the screen playing "Hot Momma" by Trace Adkins and reading my bio, when I stepped out onto that stage I could here the gasps and applause. My head was spinning and I was grinning from ear to ear. I got to model a beautiful black ****tail dress from Talbot's. The local ABC news station was invited and if they showed up I would have been the model interviewed; however they never showed up . They had a profession photographer and 2 videograpers there and we are getting copies of the photos and video as a thank you for modeling for them. As soon as I get some decent pictures I will post them on my profile. I just had to share this AWESOME WOW moment with all of you. Have a great Turkey day. Deanna

Deanna I just now got on this site and just ready this and now it is almost Christmas. Congrats!! That is a wow moment for sure! Can't wait to see the pictures. I would love a little back dress (with 3/4 sleeves of course)...but haven't been able to find one. Have a great time enjoying the pics when they come in. Joan M
