Hello to my April family
wow can you belive it is Nov here comes the hard part all the holiday party & all the food in our faces ,we can get thru this just fine with each others help ,I did great at Halloween I did not eat one peice of candy & it was every where I looked for sure but did not touch ,I need to loose some more weight I would love to see 139 by Christmas then that would be so great I weigh 142 now so I hope it comes the last few pounds are so so hard ,good luck to everyone & we can do this togather make it thru the holidays ,just like to keep in touch with everyone here ,I like to check in at least every week maybe we should make this a thing to at least check in every week
***,OH I do have a question I started a new job & I dnt know where I am not use to standing on my feet for over 9 hrs or what but my lower back has been hurting alot here this week I might have to go see a dr if it does not get better only happens at the end of the hard day I think my body is shifting from all the weight losss dnt knw has any one else happened to ? ok I got to go so HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE

I am down to 156 pounds and want to be 150 or less by New Years day. I had originally set my goal at 140 then changed to 150 with the hope of losing the rest with a tummy tuck. Now I think I may change that to 146 as that would put me at a normal BMI. I am 5' 4.5" inches tall and my stating weight was 321 just before surgery and 318 at surgery. As all of you know I FEEL GREAT!!!
I agree, we need to keep this group going and posting once a week or at least monthly would be great. How about every Weekend---Saturday or Sunday to try to send a note. What does everyone think about that? Julia
I think checking in every weekend is a great idea! I study a lot on the weekends but take lots of breaks on the computer, plus I'm always looking stuff up for school on the computer too. I went back to school to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. I love it so far. It's a lot of studying, but i love it. There are a lot of science courses in the curriculum. I'm currently taking Anatomy and Physiology and I love it.
Rebecca - what you have on your feet or what you have to stand on (concrete or hard floor?) can have a lot to do with how your back feels. Try a good supportive shoe or some good insoles added to the shoes you are currently wearing. Plus, your lower back is supported by your abdominal muscles and you're still recovering from your TT. I hope you are feeling better soon and can work pain free!

I went to a Halloween party last week. We had a riot! Here is a pic of my Hubby Dude and me. I was a go go dancer and he was a 70's dude with a big afro. I'm down to 180. I'm 5'6 1/2" tall so I think that's fine for me. I'm actually still losing though so we'll see where I end up.

Hi all, yes this is the time of year where there are too many temptations in the food department. We all need to encourage each other to stay on the straight and narrow.
Rebbeca I applaud you for resisting all that halloween candy, I wish I could say the same.
I would like to lose about 10 more pounds to get to a normal BMI. These last few pounds are sure slow coming off. Oh well, never give up I say.
I do check our board each day and am glad to see others wanting to keep in touch. I will check in.
Rebecca standing all day long on a job is tough, I hope with a good pair of shoes things improve for your back.

I am so glad you posted this. I come here everyday to check up on everyone, although I have mostly been in the shadows here, I have gotten so much from this board. I would love to see everyone come back once in a while and post. I hope your back gets better soon, I bet its from not being used to standing for such long periods of time. You have done fantastic. WE have all done so wonderful here. I dont have any new goals, just trying to maintain. I weigh 139 today and fluctuate from 136-139 and I am 5 ft 6 inches so its a great weight for me.
