Showed up at the hospital at 7:30 this morning, surgery was scheduled for 9:30, i was taken to the or about 8:30.....I had to walk to the OR, (for my rny in cali i was wheeled into or and had to scoot onto the or table) got to talk to quite a few people in the or...then they put the mask on me and i don't remember anything until 10 am when i work up in recovery...i was in there for 2 hours (that i know of lol) we had trouble getting my blood pressure up. they finally called the anastesiaologist (spelling) who said my blood pressure was okay to go back to my room...got up to my room right about noon, they had some water and satine crackers for me.....i could barely choke down those, my mouth was so dry...even tryin to drink water when i swallow ( i know i know)...then they brought me some toast with a little butter...took me an hour to eat that.......they let me go at 1:30.....since i've been home i watched some tv, took a 5 hour nap....and took 2 doses of loratab......i'm doing good....thanks for all the messages wishing me well while i was nervouse about the procedure Ruth Ann oh yeah.....i gained 10 lbs today but have already lost 5 of them LOL

Sounds like things went pretty smoothly. Glad you are home and on the mend. Those 10 lbs are from all the IV fluids they fill you up with, they will all be gone soon. Take care Sher
