Here it is the start of another weekend. The weeks sure go by fast. Don't know if I am complaining or not!! Well I got all my storage bags out from under the bed tonight for the last time. I emptied them. I can wear the 14 and 16 pants and even some of my medium size blouses from 10 to 15 years ago. Most of them are short sleeve/sleeveless so may only get to use them for a month or so as I hope to be smaller by next summer. I don't know if that will happen because I don't ever remember wearing a small in tops, as an adult!! Maybe with a breast reduction it is possible. I plan the tummy tuck first however. I bought a size 14 jeans today and found a pair of 14's under the bed for now. I have several size 12 and 10's that I hope to wear in a few months. If it weren't for the tummy (UGH) I could probably wear an 8 or 10. I had several jackets I found, that fit but they are out of style--big time. They have big shoulder pads etc. What was I thinking 12 years ago---the last time I had a weight loss of some proportion, only to gain it back of course! I will not gain it back this time--I will not---I will not!! That is a no no!! Well everyone have a great weekend and leave us a note on how you are doing. I am still losing slowly 2 to 3 pounds a month for a couple of month now, but I will not complain. Julia W.

Hi Julia, glad to see someone from the April board is checking in. Sounds like things are going well for you. That's great that you are still losing. I am sure you will get to your goal. I am losing slowwwwwwww. An occasional pound here and there, but I am happy. My size 12's are getting lose. I don't remember when I ever wore a 12, in the 9th grade I wore 14's I think. The most important thing is feeling good and being healthy any other perks like smaller sizes are a bonus. I didn't have any old clothes that I could wear since I had been obese for the last 28 years. But I am sure enjoying going shopping now. We will all need to work at keeping the weight off, I am pretty confident that we can as long as we use our tool to it's advantage. We will not gain back our weight, we will not gain back our weight, we will not gain back our weight. Take care Sher

Sher, I agree---We will not gain back our weight, we will not gain back our weight---chant chant---keep it in our minds. I know my tool is still there to use and that is a great feeling. Julia W.

Julia, Good to hear from you and glad to hear you're still doing good. When I reached my goal and kept losing, I added foods to increase my calories to stop the losing. Unfortunately, it worked too well and the past couple weeks I have gained about 10 pounds. I'm still under my doctors goal weight, but I need to get back on track because I don't want to gain anymore. I haven't been running lately because of the heat, but as soon as I get back into it, the pounds will disappear quickly. That's one good thing about this tool. I've gone from size 48 pants to size 30 and some 28s. I can't remember ever being this small. I've been really having a hard time finding pants that fit. The Men's departments usually only go down to 32s so I've been shopping in the Boy's departments, but they just don't wear dress pants. A much better problem than not being able to find pants big enough. It's hard to realize how far I've come. Some exciting news to share, too. Brenda and I have decided to go on the 2nd Annual WLS Cruise to the Bahamas in January 2008. We just applied for our passports and now getting very excited. We were always hoping to go on a cruise for our 5th wedding anniversary and we're getting ready to celebrate our 32nd. Better late than never. It's always good to hear from our April friends. Hope everyone continues to do well. Take care. Floyd

Hello Julia and everyone on here! You can tell I don't get on a often as before..we have had a very stressful two weeks. Dryer broke, riding lawn mower, weedeater also broke. And then this past Thursday our A/C died. We have American Home shield a Home Warranty policy but they denied the claim stating that there were BB holes in Ac unit outside, which is true but they are from previous owners in 1993. And therefore could not possibly cause the leakage of freon now. I know they just do not want to replace the system. So we are having our own AC guy come to check out system and write his findings out to use as way torefute their false claim. As a Christian I am trusting the Lord expose the truth. It is so sad to pay for policy for 7 years and then be denied. And in SC it is not pleasant for sure w/o AC I lost two more pounds this week due to the stress and did not really want to lose more. Glad you are doing well, and Lloyd congrats on the cruise and anniversary and you will lose the weight when you can run again. Good to see you all posting again. I miss our fellow April people signing in every now and again. Joan M

Hi Joan, Hope your air conditioning is fixed. It must be really hot without it. People say in Oregon, we don't need air conditioning but as a native Oregonian---I disagree! Love the outside heat but want it cool inside. Hope everything else gets fixed and reduces you stress. I wish I had lost your 2 pounds!! At least I did not find your 2 pounds! Julia W.

Today isn't so bad but tomorrow and Wed are supposed to be mid to upper 90's so I pray we can get this taken care of. I really do not want to lose more....my face is too thin I think..old wrinkled skin issues. Sure wish I would have had this surgery way before I turned 50. But now at almost 58 I can only live with the wrinkles and be happy to be healthy again and so happy at this incredible size 4. You look so great...love your smiling face. Oregon...my friend in AZ wants to move to Washington State or Oregon. Have a great day! Joan

Joan, I know what you mean--I too wish I had this surgery years ago. I will be 59 in less than two weeks and am thrilled to be feeling so good now. My face could use a lift as well but the tummy bothers me more so hope I can have it done next year. Both Oregon and Washington are beautiful states but the farther north you go the more rain there is. Of course that is what makes the states so pretty!! Have a great week. Julia
