I'm so glad to see everyone pop in and post! I check the boards almost every day but don't always have time to post. It's actually nice when the board is slow because it means we are all out and about and living life! I hit my goal this morning and if I lose any more weight, it will just be my cushion against that regain if it happens (although I will be fighting not to regain any weight). My goal is to retrain my brain and work on cravings and things like that. I've been reading some great books about this and doing some meditation to work on the brain re-training. I've been walking alot. I cancelled my gym membership because it was too out of the way for me, but I walk back and forth from work most days and yesterday I hit the vitamin shoppe so my total walking was over 6 miles. I am still planning on finding a gym because I want to work on all those areas I want to have PS on. I'm checking when the gyms have specials on memberships so I can join on a good deal. I had a consult for PS a few months ago, but don't plan on having anything done until early 2008. Then I will see. I absolutely want my batwings done. If I can get insurance approval for the TT, then I will schedule the batwings and boobs at the same time and do lower stuff later. But at the very least, the batwings are going to be done. Hope all is well with everyone else and we see a few more people chime in and post pictures (which I have to do again!) Take care and enjoy the day! Sue

Grrr batwings!!!! How I can relate!!! You are doing awesome keeping up with your exercise!!! I just got some exercise bands for muscle toning from Walmart with posters of different exercises you can do - you may be interested in that and you can do at home without a gym. I've also googled toning without a gym and have gotten some good info - just a thought for you!! Keep up the great work Sue

Thank you for the encouragement and the info on the exercise. I am looking into getting a bicycle (it's probably been over 30 years since I've riden one), or starting to run. I enjoy walking but I want to change my activity, too. Take care, Sue

Hello Jenn I did not recognizr you at all!!! WOw! I am doing great and feeling even better. I am down to 136 most days but fluctuate between 136-138. I wear mostly 4/6 and they are loose. I exercise but really need to do more although I am sooo active now doing things I couldn't do with the weight. I struggle with the bat wings and my legs with the wrinkes and loose skin but I don't care as long as I can wear clothes to cover it. I still add protein drinks to get enough protein due to the fact that meat is still the hardest for me to eat. So glad you all had surgery when I did because I could not have asked for a better group of support or friends. May the Lord continue to bless each of you and may we all be good examples for those *****ad about us like we did before our surgery. Love in Christ, Joan M

Joan, So glad to hear from you. I've really missed seeing your posts. Brenda and I are doing great. She just recently reached her goal, with a 190 pound loss, so now we are both in the maintenance mode. We feel so good about ourselves now that we are treating ourselves with a real vacation. We couldn't decide what we wanted to do and then I found a post on the Grad board about the WLS cruise to the Bahamas in January, so we decided to do it. We're really excited about it. Seems like such a long way off. Glad you're back and hope to hear from you often. Floyd

I have never checked the Grad board out I think I will. Good for you and Brenda! I would love a cruise and with other WLS folks would be fun. We could compare wrinkles Wow, 190lbs lost is an incredible achievement! You both are so wonderful in your support of each other. Joan

Wow-you're right, 15 months!!! I met goal about 6 months ago, around when our daughter was delivered (you do the math... We were using 2 forms of BC, but I guess He had other plans) This pregnancy was SO much more healthy than with our son 6 years ago-what a difference! No more high BP, blood sugars are in control, not back or knee pain-I'm high on life!!! No regrets what so ever. I've lost 126 pounds and still go to 2 support group meetings each month as well. I'm enjoying PLAYING with our kids instead of just sitting and watching life go by. Hope everyone is doing well-we've had an amazing journey!!! Best Wishes to all! ~Christine 243/117 lap RNY 4/4/06

I have been off the site for a while now because someone thought because I posted a picture from work that I was not performing my job!!! It took me all of 30 seconds to upload the picture. I deleted everthing from my site, which really hurt me because it was a good outlet. I now the person who turned me in is just jealous and is trying to hurt me!!! This had nothing to do with work. I also won a major award recently at work and I think that in conjuction with my weight loss 102 pounds made this person do this. I am trying to work through it and say that I will get through this. On a brighter side I had my tt with lipo of my flanks last Friday! I feel pretty good but we hit a deer on the way home from the hospital so that was something I was not expecting. I thank God that nobody was hurt and we were still able to dirve the rest of the way home (2 hour trip). The vehicle has about 3 K worth of damage. I know I am truley blessed and God has a reason for the things he throws in our past. I am glad everyone is doing well, and hopefully I will have the guts to come back under a secrete identity so I can have my lifeline back
