I am no longer trying to lose and I haven't met my goal of 145 lbs in fact I keep going back and forth from 165 to 169 and I'm tired of it!! I am refocusing on my goal which I have changed to 155, that should be attainable. I find I'm snacking too much on high carbs and I'm eating too much at a meal. I kept telling myself " I've lost 125 pounds, and I'm happy with what I look like, however I want my BMI to read normal and right now it's close but not quite there. Wish me luck! Darla

Hi Darla, I sure do wish you luck. I am like you I keep bouncin from 193 to 196 and no matter what I do I can not lose. At least I am not gaining too much. I have come to the conclusion that I am where I am going to stay. I snack once in a while, but I am not eating alot for meals. I am just not hungry, (never thought I would say that) I sure hope you are success in getting to your goal. I just dont want to gain again. I will be satisfied with what God has given me so far. Take care and keep us posted. Kathleen

Best of luck Darla. You are struggleing like so many of us to lose more weight. By changing your goal, getting to that weight won't be so overwhelming to you. Try to cut out those bad carbs. They can sabotoge our weight loss and carbs make you crave more carbs. Hang in there Sher

Darla, it sure gets harder doesn't it. I wonder sometimes, why that is as we do not eat nearly what we use to eat, in fact much much less, so what happens to slow everything down? I have been trying to stay away from the carbs and really curtail the amount I do eat and have done better this month, having lost 8 pounds and that has not happened for a number of months. Hope it keeps it up but it could just as easily stop again. I too, am very pleased with what I have lost and feel so much better, however just want to be in the "normal weight catagory! I am revising my goal from 140 to 150/155 and then try to get the rest off with PS!! Not cheating in my book, it comes off just the same! Everyone hang in there, and keep eeking out a pound or two here and there, but mostly NOT GAIN!!! Julia

I too have had a very small weightloss in the last few months. I don't eat any refined sugar like bread, pasta or rice. My carbs come from fruit and veggies and the occasional alcohol beverage. I am hovering around 195 now. Not where I want to be so I have decided to kick it up a notch. I am going to the gym 4 times a week and doing the elliptical 30 minutes and the treadmill 30 minutes. I am also keeping track of my food intake using the WW points system just to get an idea of how many calories I have been eating. My portion size is still around 3 oz but I am hungry more often now. Hopefully these modifications will boost my body into weightloss mode again! Good luck everyone! Lisa
