Bored... Bored... BORED

I had surgery on my vericose veins on Thursday. I have to keep my feet up except for running to the bathroom and minor taking care of myself until I get my leg sonogrammed. Then I can do a little more but I still have to keep my foot up alot and not do any housework for the remainder of two weeks. Well..... my surgery was Thursday and with the holiday weekend I can't get the sonogram until Tuesday afternoon so I've been laying on my couch or in my recliner since I got home from the hospital on Thursday(it was an outpatient procedure). I'm SO bored I'm going BATTY. Funny thing is before I had Gastric Bypass Surgery and lost all this weight I was so limited in what I could do because of back pain and knee pain. I spent a lot of time sitting with my feet up. Now it's driving me NUTS. This has really made me realize how much more active I am now. Forgive my rambling. I'm going out of my mind with boredom. Sorry you are bored, Lizzie. That must be awful, not to be able to get up when you want to and do what you want to. Hope you have lots of magazines, a lap top and control of the remote!!! Wishing and praying the time goes by quickly for you. Julia

Wow you are brave---you could have been injured getting control of the remote---then again they may just want to make you happy or their lives might be made misserable by you because you are Bored, Bored, Bored!!! Julia

yes so sorry you had to rest but some times we need to just set & reflect on our lives where we are & where we are going ,so & keep the foot up & you will be off & in no time
