Thanks from Ethel!
Hello everyone...well God is certainly in control of my life and He has been teaching me a lot these past 5 days for sure.
Persecution for your faith is never easy and when it comes from a family member it is extremely hard. But God is bigger than any persecution I may face and endure.
But I know healing will come and love will conquer in the end.
I managed to get some outside painting done Praise God! I still have to paint two bedrooms and the front of the house (wood siding) and landscaping.
Then the real fun...packing...no I mean it I like packing....time to reflect on what is needful and what is not and at this stage in my life we are downsizing so that is exciting. stuff is just stuff...relationships are important and thus the reason for this move. I want to be near my daughter and her family. We love Colorado and feel that is home to us.
I cannot express the joy I have in knowing you my April friends. This past year has been an emotional roller coaster of both ups and downs...learning how to use this tool properly and the way it reacts to my body. Or my body reacts to it. And through it all you have each given a part of yourselves and I thank you for taking risks in our relationship with one another. You have shared your joys and sorrows and laughter and tears and I am forever grateful....I will post now and again to let you know of the progress we are making in the sale of our home and the move. Please pray for us for wisdom in whether to use realtor and who and also for how much money to put into the home to sell it.
I pray the Lord blesses each of you with the desire of your heart and that your health and strength would continue.
In His love,
Joan M
Good luck, Joan, my surgery twin!
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and perhaps when you are settled again, we will hear from you and Ethel again more frequently.
I agree about the caring and sharing of this board. I belong to my state board and post there sporadically, but I don't feel the same way that I do about this board. We've all walked the walk together and I appreciate everyone on this board.
May God guide you and your family and keep you safe and sane on your journey toward and to your daughter.
Sue
