Carol, Hard to believe it has been almost a year. For me, at least, it has gone by so fast and I have only felt better and better each day. Life is great. I was ready to mentally pack it all in over a year ago before I decided to do this surgery. I had all but given up and resigned my self to getting bigger and bigger barring some miracle. Well guess what God does provide miralces. Wish I had done it years sooner but better late than never! There are so many changes, from small to gigantic, I can't list them all. I have lost 133 pounds and would like to lose 40 to 45 more. That amount of weight says it all. Each of us knows how we felt before and the difference this life saving surgery has made. We have all worked so hard to get to where we are today and will continue working hard to maintain our accomplishment in the future. This April group is a blessing from God in itself and has been my greatest support this year. We need to continue to be there for each other and I am sure we will be. Good luck and best wishes to all of us, as our individual dates come up. Keep up the good work APRIL buddies! Julia

Just me, I have made some great internet friends, and supporter on here this past year. Everyone has really been a blessing. Helping me to stay on track and when I not there wasnt any criticism just good on support and prayers. I am so grateful for this great tool that God has made available for all of us, and I pray that each of us keeping using the tool as we are suppose to do so that we can maintain our desire weight for the rest of our lives. Thanks everyone on this good ole April board. We all deserve a for the hard work and another for the great support on here. Hope everyone has a great anniversary on their surgery date. Kathleen

Carol..yes I am so proud of each of us here on this board..not just for the weight loss but for the way each of you have conducted yourself. So many boards are just gross...their language adn topics and it is so sad. This group has been so encouraging and uplifting and not off color or offensive. I appreciate that so much...I truly feel as if I have made lifetime friendships here. I still cannot believe that it has been a year and I am so happy. May we continue to do well and to prove that we can keep it off. Joan M

It is hard to believe that it has been a year already. Some days though I feel like I have been doing this forever because it is just part of my life now, then there are days when I think it is hard to believe that it was a year ago because the time sure has flown. The changes for me are I have lost 132lbs, I still want 20lbs more and I am done. Anything more then that I will look sick. I went from wearing a size 28 womens to a 12 misses. I go out dancing every weekend and dance all the dances now, where before I couldn't dance more then 2 in a row. I am so glad that I made this decision, it has changed and saved my life. Happy Sergiversary Everyone! Deanna

Wow, hard to believe it's almost been a year. Last year at this time I was so depressed and felt like a slug... this spring has me moving more, happier then I've been in a long time. I'm even starting to do some spring cleaning that my house desperatly needs. I thank God each day I wake up for giving me a second chance to feel good about myself again. Thank you all for the support over the past year and I look forward to the years to come. Darla
