I had my surgery on the 20th, I have lost 135lbs (I think), and feel like a million bucks! I am working my tushy off to get rid of my last 50lbs. , but I'm loving every minute of it.

I had my surgery on the 10th also. I have lost 133 pounds and am so very happy with that. I want to lose another 40 to 50 pounds and it is getting harding but I do continue to lose each month. Best thing I have done for myself!! I am finding I am getting more and more emotional about my wonderful weight loss, the closer it comes to my anniversay date. I think about how I was feeling one year ago and want to cry at the improvement. Everytime I park my car anywhere in the parking lot, not the closest spot I can find, and jump out of my car and trot on into the store, I think about how I dreaded even trying to get out of the car a year ago. So many positives over where I was last year---a whole new life. I know everyone knows the feeling. We have done so well and I am proud of all of the April group of friends I have made. Cheers to all of us. Julia

Hi, I had my surgery on April 5th and have lost 94 lbs to date, will post official doctor weigh in after my one year follow up. I am feeling so much better and am able to do so many more things than one year ago. My life has changed for the better and am so thankful that I was able to have this life saving surgery. I find I am more motivated each day to continue and challenge myself. This surgery tool has enabled me to loose more weight than I ever have before and stay with a program longer than ever before and I hope it will continue to help me keep off the weight forever! Sher

Oh my gosh...what a HUGE difference a year can make!!! My surgery anniversary is on April 11th...so far I have lost 121 pounds and made goal last December. I am weighing 112 pounds now and I feel fabulous I have not had any follow up care since last July when we moved from D.C. to Georgia because all doctors refused to see me because liability reasons...they only follow ones that had surgery with them....WELL, I am please to tell you that my insurance company called me last week and they found me a doctor so I am so excited to make my 1 year appointment/check-up!!! BUT, I am very nervbous also because I have been HORRIBLE getting my vitamins, calcium and protein!!! I just started to be able to tolerate them this past month...I hope that I do not have any deficiencies! Pray for me! YOU HAVE ALL COME A LONG WAY AND I AM PROUD OF YOU Amy start weight 233 current weight 112

Hello April buddys, I had my surgery April 24, I have lost 137 pounds so far. I am 100% healthly, more active and just feel so much better than I did this time last year. I can walk without a limp, I can climb stairs without the pain and being out of breath. I am so grateful that I had this life saving surgery. I was in very bad health, and now I feel like a whole new person. I am still amazed at what I have accomplished in less than a year from surgery I want to congradulate everyone on this board for the wonderful job that everyone is doing. I know that with all this energy everyone has there is too much going on in everyone one lives and arent on here as much. Hope everyone is doing good and keep up the good work. Enjoy the new life that we all have. Love and Kisses Kathleen

Hello I had my surgery April 24 and I have lost 126 to date. I have 20 more pounds to go to my goal. Seems like it does not even come off now. I really need for the weather to break so I can get moving again. My exercise has been way down. Almost non-existant. Life is so much better now. I have a ton of energy, my feet don't hurt at the end of the day, I can walk better, I am off high blood pressure meds, asthma meds, I can fit in a size 14 and I look good! hehehehe Yes, life is sooo much better now!

Look how good we're all doing! I had my surgery on April 20th and I've lost 123 lbs. I went from wearing a size 30/32 to a 14 or 16. I feel so much better. I have back and knee problems and really couldn't do much before. Lizzie

My surgery was April 25 and I have lost 137 lbs. I keep flustuating between 153 and 155LBs and yikes that scares me. I am wearing size 8/10 mostly but they are baggy in bottom and legs but the waist fits. I wear some 4/6's but I am only barely 5'1". I would love to be at a normal BMI which is 132 but I doubt that will happen w/o skin removal. Glad you are doing so well. Great loss and it wonderful about the breast reduction. If my breasts reduce anymore there will be nothing there. I feel wonderful too and am so happy I did this and now have a life again instead of being a bystander watching my life go by. I do the Ethel wants to know...where we share what we eat daily, if you want to join in with us. In Christ, Joan M

I had my surgery on the 24th. I've lost exactly 100 pounds and am thrilled. I'd like to lose 5-10 more, but .. i am happy. I wear a size 10-12 and a medium or large top. I am off all medicines, except of course vitamins. My husband loves to feel my hip bones and my ribs.. and keeps giving me the squeeze test. He says I pass!
