200lbs!

Well its been 11 months and i've finally lost 200lbs! I am very excited. It has been a long rough road but it's getting better. I had my revision on march 5th and it went very well. He was able to do it lap instead of open this time...man the difference was amazing!! I went home the next day and had to keep reminding myself I had surgery. He spent about 4 and a half hours in there removing scar tissue etc. He did have to create a new pouch..my first pouch was completely adhered to my liver, he got as much of it out as he could. He thinks that may have been one of the reasons for my pain when I ate. So hopefully strictures are a thing of the past, I wouldn't be sad if I never had to have another EGD again!!! I know i've had my fair share of them. It's going to be nice being able to eat without chasing it with pain medicine. Well just wanted to share my excitement with everyone!!! I only have 47 more lbs to get to my goal weight and 74 lbs to get to my surgeons goal weight. I never would have thought it would have been obtainable.... I'm glad I was wrong!!!! Oh Rose that is wonderful!!! I am so glad they could do the revision and you can again see the fruit of your labors!!! We need a new pic Girlfriend!!! So with revision do you start over with your diet..liquids, full liquids, etc? If so I will pray for you and for strength. So glad for the incredible weight loss!!!! In His love, Joan M
