Gus, What a cutie you are! Talk about a million dollar smile!!! You profile is an inspirational story....you should write a book. My surgery was April 10 and I am 10 months and 15 days post op with a loss of 121 from my highest weight. As for being good....I am being better than I was around Christmas. I just found an old photo of mine....posted it cuz it helps me remember where I came from. This year has been fabulous....talk about improved quality of life!! This April board has been a lifesaver for me...typically I lurk around, but it has been such a blessing to read of others feelings, fears and most of all, joys. Simply put, thank you April board!!!

Cyn---You are right about the April board. I have learned so much here, as we are all so close in the stages of our wonderful journey, that it is easy to help each other out and to share information, wow moments etc. You have done very good with your loss as we all have. This has been a lifesaver for us and we should never forget where we came from. I have a before pic in front of me by my computer! I keep it turned upside down but know exactly where it is when I need to remember how far I have come. Julia

Thanks Cyndi---we all deserve the benefits we have received in 10 months as we have worked hard during this journey and it's not over yet. Is the hard part, keeping the weight off once we reach a goal?? Maybe that is when we will help each other the most. Julia W.

Yes let's celebrate, it is almost time for first anniversary! Gus you have accomplished an amazing weight loss in only 10 months. I know that you will reach your goal. I have been working harder the past month journaling my food intake and exercise. I have been meeting my exercise goals and find I am challenging myself each day. I have lost 97lbs so far. I will meet my goal too. It may take me a little longer than some but as I see and feel the results it only encourages me to continue. This tool we have been given is miraculous . I have never been able to have such success losing weight before. I only pray that as long as I use my tool as I should that I will be able to maintain my weight loss. None of us wants to go back to the way we were. I now feel better than I have felt in many, many years.
