French Onion Soup?

I went out with two girlfriends for lunch yesterday. I thought I was behaving by ordering soup. My nutritionist said that when in doubt, I should order soup. Well, today I am sick as a dog with diarrhea and tummy ache. Could it be the french onion soup? I had not had any of it for years and of certainly not since wls? I did not over eat since I only ordered a small cup to begin with. Any thoughts? Thanks, KimM.

I don't know if it could have been the soup. I've had French Onion soup since the surgery but I made it at home and just omitted the bread part. I hope you are feeling better soon. Lizzie

I wouldn't count on as the soup.. it's one of my goto's when I am out it could of been a coincidence.. i hope you feel better soon!!

Kimberley, So sorry....you are feeling badly....if there was alot of cheese with the bread, that might be doing it. Warm melted cheese for some reason makes me sick as a dog. Seems like the fat in the cheese is what does it for me. I hope you feel better.... Take Care, Cyndi
